Use the data.

We open the warehouse to a small number of outside researchers each year. The bar isn't credentials — it's clarity about what you want to study and how you'll handle people's practice data.

Before you apply

  • Read the methodology. If our k≥10 invariant or de-identification approach won't support your question, that's important to know first. /research/methodology
  • Skim what's already published. Some questions you might want to ask have already been answered — or are in the queue. /research/findings
  • Be specific about the slice you need. "Aggregate dashboards only" is fast to approve. "Individual de-identified rows under a data use agreement" requires a separate conversation.

Application

Tell us who you are and what you want to study. Applications are reviewed by a small standing committee; we aim to respond within two weeks.
